Dear Supporters of National Defence and Security,
We would like to offer you a unique opportunity to discover in Prague the latest technologies and equipment used by our armed and rescue forces to ensure the defence and security of our population. Come together with your children to expand your knowledge in the fields of security, defence, and crisis preparedness.
On October 24, 2026, the PVA EXPO PRAHA Letňany venue will host the Security and Defence Day for the public. The event will follow the professional part of the prestigious international trade fair Future Forces & Forum. On Saturday, you can look forward to a day full of experiences, inspiration, practical demonstrations, educational activities, and awareness lectures.
The all-day program is organized under the auspices of public administration, armed forces, and rescue services, and is designed to introduce participants to the key aspects of our country's defence and security in a clear and engaging way.
The aim is not only to educate in an attractive form, but above all to inspire not only young people to serve society and their country. The event will present real career opportunities and help participants consider possible future professional paths.
The program within the PVA EXPO PRAHA Letňany venue will be organized as follows:
- Outdoor demonstrations will take place in the gravel parking area in front of the venue
- Indoor demonstrations and partner information stands will be located in Exhibition Hall 8
- Educational and awareness lectures will be held in the exhibition center conference halls
Main program topics:
- National Defence System: How cooperation between the military and civilian sectors works
- Crisis Preparedness: How to respond in emergency situations (natural disasters, security threats)
- Cybersecurity: Protection in the digital environment under the guidance of experts from the Cybersecurity Center, registered institute
- Citizen Preparation for National Defence (POKOS), an educational project of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic focused on defence awareness among the population
- Public Health Preparedness as one of the pillars of societal resilience
- Interactive workshops and crisis simulation activities
- Dynamic demonstrations of the work of security and rescue services
- Inspirational lectures by experts and role models from practice
- An opportunity to look “behind the scenes” of professions that truly matter
The programs will feature active participation from professionals representing these key partner organizations:
- Police of the Czech Republic
- Prague Municipal Police
- Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic
- Prague Emergency Medical Service
- Army of the Czech Republic
- Prison Service of the Czech Republic
- Customs Administration of the Czech Republic
- Czech Red Cross
