ROBOTIC WARFARE
The panel consists of presentations by experts with many years of experience in the field of robotic warfare. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore this subject, from its history to future development trends. In light of the wars in the Middle East and the Near East, as well as in Ukraine, this is a highly topical issue. The civilian use of robotic systems is also gradually becoming part of everyday life. Robotics combined with artificial intelligence is a field of the future and is increasingly becoming a decisive factor in military operations, both today and in the years to come.
Current armed conflicts increasingly demonstrate that robotic warfare is not merely a matter of deploying unmanned systems, but represents a fundamental transformation in the conduct of military operations. The integration of autonomous and remotely operated systems with artificial intelligence, advanced sensors, satellite navigation, and network-based data sharing is changing the way reconnaissance is conducted, decisions are made, and combat operations are carried out. Experiences from Ukraine and the Middle East also reveal the growing importance of electronic warfare, cybersecurity, the resilience of communication systems, and technologies for detecting and neutralising unmanned threats. The panel will therefore focus not only on current technological capabilities and their practical applications, but also on the strategic, ethical, and legal issues associated with the increasing autonomy of combat systems and the evolving relationship between humans and technology on today's and tomorrow's battlefield.
